Anxiety
Do you sometimes question whether or not you even have anxiety? Do you get this feeling in the pit of your stomach that says something is just not right? Are you constantly thinking about what's going on or what's going to happen. Do you try to make a plan for all of the things that could possibly go wrong and try to mentally prevent any possible embarrassment? Are you finding that none of that eases your fear? Do you forget all of the good things about yourself and only focus on the bad? Do you find yourself always thinking about what others think about you, and never assume it is something positive? You are not alone, many people feel this way and there are ways to overcome it and find fulfillment. I can help you by giving you strategies and techniques that can bring relief and improve your life.

Anger
Did you know that there is a strong link between anger and anxiety? Anxiety can cause frustration, which can turn into anger. It usually happens when you feel helpless or unable to cope with what's going on around you. Perhaps you feel triggered by people or situations, thoughts, behaviors or interactions.
Prolonged and intense anger can also result in anxiety if it's not dealt with adequately, which can lead to anxiety disorders.
I can help you manage anger by providing strategies and techniques to bring it under control, instead of it controlling you.

Anxiety can affect relationships in many ways. Do you find yourself in a relationship in which you have an intense desire for closeness and may constantly look for reassurance and validation from your partner? This can lead to co-dependent behaviors and make both parties feel stressed and overwhelmed due to the overdependence on one another.
Anxiety can also cause you to withdraw in order to avoid difficult conversations. This can make it hard to maintain healthy connections to others.
Arguments, avoiding social activities and avoiding intimacy are more likely to occur when you have an anxiety disorder.
Addressing your own anxiety may be very helpful to improving your relationships.

Have you experienced trauma at some point in your life? Most people do and trauma can trigger the body's stress response, which can lead to anxiety.
Trauma can cause changes in brain structure and can affect how it functions, which can cause anxiety to develop.
Do you worry a lot, have panic attacks, feel on edge, have trouble sleeping, feel irritable or feel easily startled? These can all be symptoms that occur after trauma and usually go away, but for some people they don't and this can lead to anxiety disorders and PTSD.
I provide treatment for anxiety related to trauma. It is important to break avoidance cycles and treatment brings relief.

Do you live with chronic anxiety? If so, it can interfere with your quality of life. It can affect your ability to concentrate. You might have headaches from constant worry and stress. Breathing can be affected, as well, due to rapid, shallow breaths taken when having a panic attack. Blood pressure can rise and your heartbeat quickens. The stomach can be affected and you may suffer with pain, nausea or diarrhea.
Loss of sexual desire can occur as well as feeling extremely tired throughout the day. Long term exposure to stress hormones can lead to weight gain, heart disease, and immune system issues.
Treatment for anxiety can lead to a healthier long term outlook for your life.

Do you lack confidence in your daily life? Or perhaps you have a negative assessment of yourself. Anxiety may be contributing to these issues.
Chronic worry can lead to avoidance behaviors which can reinforce low self-esteem.
People with social anxiety may have difficulty reading social cues and have problems reading the amount of acceptance and rejection in their lives.
Anxiety can also leads you to interpret the intentions of others negatively, such as feeling intimidated or criticized.
I can help you explore the root cause of low self esteem and assist you in reframing the way you think about things.
